Every year on International Students' Day, November 17th, we award a student scholarship from the DEF (Drew Egan Fond) fund, and it is awarded by:
The FULM Citizens' Association, FULM Savings House, a member of the World Council of Credit Unions, in cooperation with the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates, USA.

This year, the topic on which students proposed solutions was:

Answer R-evolutionarily and win a student scholarship
The decision-making process also included Prof. Dr. Svetislav Krstic - Full Professor from the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Medicine and our last year's scholarship winner Simona Krsteva, who selected one scholarship holder with the best proposed solution for 2023 and we awarded three more students for their participation with the second, third and fourth best solutions.

So, it is our honor and pleasure to announce the WINNERS:
1. Elen Iva Petrov - Student at the Faculty of Natural Sciences - Institute of Biology/Nutrition - scholarship winner.
2. Monika Mucunska - FINKI, - Application of Information Technologies - second best solution.
3. Ivona Markova - University "St. Cyril and Methodius" - Faculty of Pedagogy "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Classroom Teaching - third best solution.

We believe that this idea will not just remain written down somewhere, but will be worked towards its realization and integration into our society in order to have a cleaner and healthier environment for all future generations.
